Privacy

The short version: the numbers you type into the app never leave your device, because there is nowhere for them to go.

The app

• Nothing you type is sent anywhere. The app makes no network requests at all once it has loaded. The arithmetic runs in your own browser.
• There is no account. No name, no password, no profile.
• There is no analytics inside the app — nothing watching which tool you opened or which state you looked at.
• One thing is stored on your own device: the text size you chose with the A− / A+ buttons, so it is still there next time. It stays in your browser and is readable by nobody else. Clearing your browser data removes it.
• Printing happens on your device too. The printout is made by your own browser; nothing is uploaded to produce it.

Buying it

The checkout is run by Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record. They take the payment, handle sales tax, and send the receipt. Your card details go to them and are never seen here. What comes back is an order record: the email address you bought with, the country for tax purposes, and the licence key.

That email address is used for the receipt, for sending the link again if you lose it, and for telling you if something in the app materially changes. It is not sold, rented or handed to anybody else.

This website

The sales pages are plain files served by Vercel. Vercel keeps ordinary server logs, which include IP addresses, as any web host does. There are no advertising trackers on these pages and no cookies set by them.

Your choices

• Ask what is held about you, and it will be sent to you.
• Ask for the order record to be deleted, and it will be — bear in mind that a receipt has to be kept for tax records for as long as the law requires.
• Ask to be taken off the email list, and you are off it.
